Leadership Team
John Ayvas
As CEO of Lincoln Waste Solutions, John has fostered a culture of teamwork and accountability driven by a sense of urgency. John has served as an accomplished senior executive within the waste and recycling industry for more than 17 years.
Based on experience, John says “Lincoln Waste Solutions is the only managed solution in our industry in which best-in-class Customer service meets best-in-class guaranteed savings. Our initial Client partnerships are born on savings and expanded through our continuous back office support. This is what makes Lincoln Waste Solutions special in our industry.”
John holds an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University. He was a former collegiate cross-country runner at NSU, winning Most Improved Runner and Team Captain in back-to-back years. During his downtime, John relishes spending time with his awesome family. Additionally, John enjoys volunteering with the Special Olympics. Most recently, he served as both a coach and partner for the Special Olympics in Farmington Valley, CT.
Barbara Rodegher
As Senior Vice President, Barbara is the driving force behind Lincoln Waste Solutions unwavering commitment to complete Client satisfaction related to all service matters.
She prides herself on the “Client-focused” infrastructure she has developed and cultivated at Lincoln.
Barbara has developed a “can do” culture at Lincoln which has resulted in a Client renewal rate of practically 100%. She feels this substantiates her belief that Lincoln really is the best Managed Solution provider in the Waste & Recycling industry. “We truly operate as partners with each of our Clients and their individual locations.”
Barbara attributes her success to a diverse background in Client Services over nearly 30 years. She feels the experience she gained in the Financial Services and Real Estate fields, helped her develop the “Client-focused” mindset she has today.
Barbara holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Connecticut State University. In her spare time, she most enjoys spending time with her lovely family. She also enjoys cooking and gardening.
Tomas Agosto
As Vice President of Finance at Lincoln Waste Solutions, Tomas has a keen insight into the total value that Lincoln provides Clients. “Yes, our typical Client realizes a 10%-30% hard cost savings, but that is just the beginning of the story.

Tomas comes from a stellar background in Accounting and Finance. For the first half of his career he worked for Fortune 500 companies in the Food and Pharmaceutical industries. Over the past decade, Tomas has focused his talents in the Waste & Recycling industry.
Tomas is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus. He has a BBA in Business Administration, with a Major in Accounting.
Gregg Matthews
Over 13 years’ experience in the Waste/Recycling Industry. Gregg built and managed the largest organics recycling program in the country with the nation’s largest retailer.
As Director of Vendor Relations, he has leveraged more than 30 years in logistical planning and operations. Gregg served this country as member of the United States Air Force. Gregg is a combat veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm as well as chief intelligence with the Air National Guard. In his spare time, he can be found on the golf course playing and teaching. He is married to his wife Tami and resides in McKinney, TX.
Steven Davis
Steven began his tenure at Lincoln Waste Solutions in 2010. During this time, he has had the privilege of helping many diverse Clients more effectively manage Waste & Recycling while significantly reducing costs and improving Environmental Sustainability. These Clients include mid-size regional companies, to some of the largest companies in the United States.
Steven has always kept his approach to life and business very simple. “He believes in dealing with people with “honesty”, “integrity” and “accountability”, and treating others the way that you would like to be treated. This approached has work very well for Steven. He spent over a decade in sales and management for companies such as AT&T and Windstream Communications, developing, implementing and supporting technology-based solutions that reduced costs for multi-location Clients, while improving their business communications. For his efforts, he earned “Top Performer” awards in practically every post he held.
Steven holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University where he was recognized for academic achievement by the Dean of the University, Rotary Club and was honored as a “Who’s Who in American Universities & Colleges”. While at the University he was also a Scholar Athlete for the Baseball Team. Steven’s athletic accomplishments included All-Conference recognition and Team MVP Award. At the conclusion of his collegiate career, Steven was drafted by and played Professional Baseball for the Chicago Cubs organization.
In his spare time, Steven enjoys teaching marriage classes, volunteering at the local homeless shelter and coaching Baseball and Basketball at his children’s school.
Kelly Gunter
As Director of Compliance, Kelly has 10+ years of industry experience. For much of the past decade, she has specialized in regulation compliance, project management, client management, and vendor negotiations.
Her experience makes her ideal to manage the implementation process for all new clients. Kelly’s efforts have resulted in client savings from Day 1 on the program. Kelly uses her consistent passion and positive energy, to help generate 7-figure annual savings for recently launched clients.
Kelly holds a Master’s Degree from Angelo State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three beautiful daughters, especially while at the family ranch.
